Quality Center for Business
The Quality Center for Business is located on the San Juan College Campus at 5101 College Blvd. next to the School of Energy. The center is a hub for accessible and cost-effective business resources and programs, such as the Enterprise Center, Big Idea Makerspace, Studio G, Harvest Food Hub, and more.

The Enterprise Center is a certified business incubator for startups, offering office space and industrial bays to lease.

The Big Idea Makerspace
The Big Idea Makerspace provides access to state-of-the-art product creation, prototyping, and fabrication equipment. The Makerspace is available to the public for business and personal use.

Studio G at The Enterprise Center is a program designed to help students and recent graduates of select colleges launch and grow their businesses. Provided in partnership with NMSU Arrowhead, Studio G offers invaluable resources such as advising, access to equipment and software, funding opportunities, access to resources, and licensing opportunities. It’s the perfect space for young entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and turn their innovative ideas into thriving ventures.
The Harvest Food Hub & Kitchen
The Harvest Food Hub & Kitchen connects local farmers and food producers with buyers to expand access to fresh, locally grown products. Food entrepreneurs can benefit from classes offered at the Harvest Kitchen.

The Small Business Development Center
The San Juan College Small Business Development Center provides essential support to start-ups and established small businesses in San Juan County through a partnership between the State of New Mexico and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The SBDC offers various services, including business counseling, technical assistance, help with SBA loans and other financing options, market research assistance, training, financial analysis, and business planning.
Key program offerings include:

APEX: Designed to assist businesses with navigating government contracting, preparing RFPs, and understanding government regulations. The APEX program opens doors to government contracts through resources like NMPTAC (New Mexico Procurement Technical Assistance Center).

International Trade: For small businesses with global aspirations, the International Business Accelerator offers free resources to help you enter the international market, especially in trade with Mexico. Through one-on-one counseling, an online resource guide, trade lead databases, and export/import guidance, this program helps businesses explore their international potential.

Technology Commercialization Accelerator (TCA): If you have ideas or inventions, the TCA program provides no-cost, confidential counseling on intellectual property. This program helps you navigate the process of developing, protecting, and monetizing your innovations.

WESST Farmington Women’s Business Center
The Farmington Women’s Business Center is a nonprofit organization that fosters self-sufficiency through sustainable self-employment in New Mexico. They provide comprehensive support to small businesses, offering technical assistance in areas such as business planning, financial modeling, marketing, and overall business development.
The Center also offers group and one-on-one training for essential software like Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks. For businesses needing funding, they provide access to loan funds and connect entrepreneurs with conventional and alternative lenders.
Four Corners Economic Development (4CED)
Four Corners Economic Development focuses on strategic planning and leadership to support the growth of economic base jobs in the region. They specialize in business recruitment, site selection for companies looking to relocate, and workforce development through the Skills Ready (WorkKeys®) initiative.
